Omar Reyes, a 12th-grader at El Camino High in Oceanside, placed second in the Division 1 boys senior/invitational race by covering the 3-mile layout in 15:03.8 at the 43rd ASICS Mt. Carmel Cross Country Invitational at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. El Camino finished fifth with 188 points.
